About Me

I grew up in southern California, where a high school anatomy elective sparked a deep interest in the human body. I moved to Portland in 2001 to attend Lewis and Clark college, and after graduating I enrolled in East West College where I studied myofascial work, Thai massage, and trigger point therapy.

When I received my license in 2007 I worked in spas, but over time found myself drawn to working with clients with specific issues that required focused bodywork. I developed a style to release holding patterns and free up stuck connective tissue while remaining deeply relaxing. Clients often tell me that I have an intuitive touch. While I am working I am always searching for restrictions or areas that would benefit from focused work. I am very grateful to be able to work with people one-on-one and see the positive changes in their wellbeing after a session.

Over the last 18 years I have worked in a variety of settings with people recovering from injuries, dealing with physically demanding jobs, feeling discomfort from working at a desk, or simply looking for a grounding and relaxing experience.

I welcome and respect all communities and bodies, and it is very important to me to provide a space for all people to feel safe and accepted. My practice is currently located at the Skanner building at 415 N Killingsworth St. in Portland. There is an ADA accessible office available in the building that I can arrange to use if needed.
